Meet Kelsey Goates

Hi, I’m Kelsey Goates — community banker, speaker, wife, mom, and someone who believes there’s nothing better than a good long run and a great community partnership. 

I’ve spent over a decade in community banking, leading marketing efforts, financial literacy initiatives, and outreach programs that connect real people to real financial solutions. I’m passionate about building relationships that matter — whether it’s helping students learn the basics of money, working with local organizations to expand financial education, or opening doors for women looking to grow their careers in banking.

In 2024, I was honored to be named a Texas Bankers Association Emerging Leader and recognized nationally as one of the Independent Community Bankers of America’s Top 40 Under 40 — achievements that reflect my deep commitment to serving my community and shaping the future of our industry.

Outside of work, I’m a wife and proud mom to two amazing kids. When I’m not being a community banker or planning my next keynote, you can often find me toting kids to horse-riding lessons or baseball games, logging miles while training for my next marathon, or dreaming up new ways to make financial literacy irresistible.
